Art Master's Exhibition in Monte Carlo, Monaco
Tom Atwood, David Lachapelle, Helmut Newton, Karl Lagerfeld, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Mapplethorpe, Herb Ritts, Cindy Sherman, Horst P. Horst, Man Ray, Edward Steichen, Alfred Stieglitz, Robert Doisneau, Edward Weston, Joyce Tenneson, Brassaï, André Kertesz, Edouard Boubat, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Lola & Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Doug Aitken, Hans Bellmer, Graciela Iturbide, Duane Michals, George Hurrell, Elliott Erwitt, Greg Gorman, Peter Lindbergh, Jock Sturges, Lauren Greenfield and Jean-Baptiste Mondino were among the photographers represented in the 2008 Art Masters exhibition in Monte Carlo. Among Atwood's images in the exhibition, titled Women in the Magic Mirror, was a portrait of Catwoman actress, Julie Newmar.  Art by Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Degas, Warhol, Cristo and other greats was also featured, as well as works from the Segantini, Engadin and Berry Museums.  The show was sponsored by Mercedes, Cartier and Style Monte-Carlo Magazine and was held at the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains St. Moritz.

PDNB Gallery Exhibition in Dallas
Ten images from Atwood's book, Kings in Their Castles, were recently exhibited at PDNB Gallery in Dallas in an exhibition titled, There's No Place Like Home.

Louis Stern Fine Arts Exhibition in LA
Each year, the Advertising Photographers of America selects 50 of the top advertising photographs in an international competition, sponsored by the Getty Museum and the Armand Hammer Museum. Winners are displayed at Louis Stern Fine Arts in LA and are part of a national traveling exhibit.

ClampArt Exhibition in New York
Tom Atwood, Nan Goldin, Horst P. Horst, Robert Mapplethorpe, George Platt Lynes, Bruce Cratsley, John Dugdale, Robert Giard, Bill Jacobson, Paul Meleschnig, Duane Michals, Jack Pierson and Arthur Tress were among the photographers represented in ClampArt's recent show, Boys of Summer. Among Atwood's images in the exhibition were portraits of John Waters and John Bartlet.

Photographer of the Year, Worldwide Photography Gala Awards
London's Worldwide Photography Gala Awards named Tom Atwood 2009 Photographer of the Year.  Atwood also won first place in Portraiture, chosen from over three thousand entries from about 50 countries.

First Place Winner, Prix de la Photographie Paris
Atwood won first place in Portraiture in the Prix de la Photographie Paris competition. Chosen from thousands of entries from over 85 countries, winners from each major category were published internationally and exhibited in Paris at the 13Sévigné Gallery.

Atwood was recognized on Photo Life Magazine's list of Top 50 Emerging Photographers.
